Special Session on
Adaptation and Services: Agents, Methodologies and Applications
ASAMA 2018
http://www.icaart.org/ASAMA.aspx
Within the 10th International Conference on Agents and Artificial Intelligence
January 16 - 18, 2018
Funchal, Madeira - Portugal
http://www.icaart.org/
This special session will provide the opportunity to present and discuss research in the intersection between service-oriented engineering and self-adaptive systems. Whereas classical service orientation focuses on the development of software systems by composition of reusable services, self-adaptation proved to be effective for implementing robust and flexible applications. The theory and practice of self-adaptation may be used for handling dynamic environments and for granting continuity of services also in case of unexpected changes of the operative context.
TOPICS
The special session ASAMA invites submissions in the area of self-adaptive services. Topics include, but are not limited to, the following:
Agents for:
* Self-organizing, configuring, managing services
* Adaptive orchestration and choreography
* Decentralized feedback loop
* Dynamic Holons and Holarchies
Methodologies for:
* Requirements elicitation techniques
* QoS Optimization Techniques
* Dynamic Architectures Definition
Applications:
