The Royal Continental is located on Naples’ waterfront. It’s easy to lose yourself between the sea and the symbols of the city: opposite the hotel, you’ll see the legendary Castel dell‘Ovo and the Borgo Marinari, just a few minutes walk away is the Piazza del Plebiscito and a little further, the Maschio Angioino.

The hotel is located in the centre of the large pedestrianised island of the promenade, while still being well-connected to the rest of the city.

How to reach the Hotel

By plane

From Napoli Capodichino airport take the Alibus busline and get off at Piazza Municipio.
From Piazza Municipio you can proceed by Bus or by Taxi; By Bus: go to via Acton and take bus 154; then get off at the stop for Saint Lucia, and the hotel is just a few steps away.

By train and metro

From Napoli Centrale railway station, take Metro Line 1 (Garibaldi, just outside the station), going towards Piscinola direction, and get off at Toledo station.
From there, you can take a taxi or enjoy a pleasant walk along Via Toledo and through Piazza del Plebiscito (15 minutes walking)

If you’re looking for something a little different, we recommend the tour of the art stations of metro line 1; each station has its own character, colours and theme.

Nightlife

The hotel is one of the top venues of the city, with its brunches and cocktails at the Roof, rooftop restaurant, Lounge Bar and Bistro.

Just a few steps away are the seafront, Borgo Marinari and the Chiaia district, all perfect after-dinner spots: an abundance of restaurants, small pubs and characteristic bars.
